These DC converters designed to get more oomf from transceivers, transmitters, ignition systems and audio amplifiers in 12V vehicles. They have a wide operating temperature range, and use large screw terminal connections both input and output. These are attractive, reliable, robust DC/DC converters good for fork lifts, off-road, construction and recreational equipment. They are relatively immune to vibration and shock.
The output voltage can be adjusted between 15.5V and 15.7V by removing the front cover. They have a wide range of input voltages, 11 to 14V, so cover the definition of boost converter, where the input voltage must be lower than the output voltage.

To determine the output amps you need just add up the watts of all the equipment and divide by 16 volts.

These converters are common ground and can be used for most 12 volt applications, including negative ground floating ground installations.
