Charger for a 500 Volt Hawker Battery Pack.
If a battery needs to be moved around on a pallet, is it still
called a "battery pack?" This monster battery is used to start something big,
because they draw as much as 20,000 watts from it for up to 15 seconds. Our
charger is custom all the way, the input is 270 volts single phase, it uses
temperature compensated charging, and maximum 1 amp current for up to six
hours. A microprocessor adjusts the charge algorithm for temperature and also
simulates an temperature probe signal to let the customer's system know what
the battery temperature is.
