This is a low noise DC converter that uses polyphase switchmode technology, which increases the efficiency and lowers the conducted and emitted RF noise. It is designed to allow the use of 12 volt equipment in 24 volt vehicles, boats, and yachts, particularly radio transmitters and receivers.
These are attractive, reliable, robust DC/DC converters good for fork lifts, off-road, construction and recreational equipment. It is externally mounted fan cooled, so it can't to suck in dirt or water spray into the electronics.

To determine the amperage you need just add up the watts of all the equipment that will be powered by this DC to DC converter and divide by 13.4 volts.
These are also known as 24 volt voltage reducers, and voltage regulators.
