These are fully regulated switching power converters (switchmode), designed to allow the use of 12 volt equipment in 32 volt, 36 volt, and 40 volt vehicles. These are attractive, reliable, robust DC/DC converters good for golf carts, floats, off-road, construction and recreational equipment.

To calculate the amps you need, add up the watts of all the equipment to be powered by the converter and divide by 13.6 volts.

These converters have common negative, so they are not fully isolated, but can be used for almost all 12 volt applications.
